Microsoft India announced the launch of its most awaited tablet Surface Pro 4 in India, on Thursday.
The Surface Pro 4 features a 12.3-inch PixelSense display with 267 pixels per inch. It runs on 6th-generation Intel Core processor and has 16GB of RAM and 1TB storage.
In India, Microsoft offers three variants of the Surface Pro 4 on Amazon India. These variants are as follows:
- Surface Pro 4 with Core i5/4GB of RAM/128GB SSD (Price Rs. 89,990).
- Surface Pro 4 with Core i5/8GB of RAM/256GB SSD (Price Rs. 1,20,990).
- Surface Pro 4 with Core i7/8GB of RAM/256GB SSD (Price Rs. 1,44,990).
All devices have a 5MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera. According to Microsoft, the tablets will also have Dolby audio and a battery life of about 9 hours.
With the multi-position kickstand and an improved Type Cover, it transforms into a fully functioning laptop running desktop software, the company said in a statement.

“Equipped with all the features of a fully powered laptop into a thin, light and beautifully designed device, Surface Pro 4 works in harmony with the full power of Windows 10,” he added.
Adobe South Asia Umang Bedi said that, “Adobe and Microsoft have been collaborating to bring the full power of Adobe Creative Cloud to a mobile experience, optimized for pen and touch.”
“In our recent update to Creative Cloud, Adobe delivered Touch workspaces to InDesign CC and Illustrator CC, pioneering new ways of interacting with essential design apps — and these workspaces were designed specifically for Windows tablets, including Microsoft Surface Pro,” he said.
“Additionally, with Touch support also part of Photoshop CC and our industry-defining video tools, Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC, we are looking forward to see how creatives in India embrace this natural way of working with their favourite Adobe tools,” he added.
Microsoft is also bringing the Surface Pro 3 to India, with price starting at Rs 73,990. It features the Intel Core i3 variant, 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD.
