Inaugural American Bazaar conclave to focus on IT, immigration reform, Indo-US business opportunities

BANGALORE: The American Bazaar will hold its first-ever conclave this Saturday, February 1, here, the subject of which will be “Post-recession US information technology market: challenges and opportunities.”

The conference will cover a wide swath of topics; in addition to IT, the issues of immigration reform, and US-India business partnerships, will be touched upon by the renowned team of speakers who will be present at the function.

Speakers at the meet include:

• Anirban Dey, Managing Director of SAP Labs India in Bangalore.
• Jason Harmon, CTO & Founding Partner of Get Real Health Consulting in Rockville, Maryland.
• Javad K. Hassan, Chairman of NeST Group in Washington, DC.
• Sheela Murthy, founder Murthy Law Firm in Baltimore, Maryland
• Dr. Satyam Priyadarshy, Founder of ReIgnite Strategy in Herndon, Virginia
• Manoj Sreenilayam, Senior VP of Get Real Health Consulting in Rockville, Maryland

Dey will be giving the keynote address, entitled “Design thinking the strategic path to success,” which will be followed by master classes headlines by Harmon and Priyadarshy. The master classes will be about “Impact of global social mobile technologies on Talent Distribution.”

Lunch will be followed by a keynote address by Murthy about the “Future of H-1 and L-1 visas.” There will then be panels hosted by the above speakers, as well as several others, including Nish Acharya, Robinder Sachdev, Sameer Shariff, and Dr. Pramod Varma.

“The overall objective of the conference is giving Indian IT professionals a sense and flavor of the US — and to some extent global — information technology markets, latest trends and emerging technologies,” said Asif Ismail, publisher of The American Bazaar.
