The Cricket World Cup 2015 got under way last week in Australia and New Zealand. Top ad agencies have made short, thoughtful ads, infused with humor, to give fans something else to smile and ruminate about.
The ad industry has changed quite dramatically in the last few years. More companies now demand ad agencies to create “story-based ads†for special occasions like the Cricket World Cup.
Earlier, cricket players and Bollywood heroes used to be central characters in the ads that released ahead of the World Cup. Now, ads have taken an “Aam Aadmi†approach, picking up ideas from everyday life of the common man.
