That tool alone is pulling in over $200 million a year, and the company’s seeing solid 60% gross margins on direct sales. In a surprising move, the company just welcomed back two of its top coding leads, Boris Cherny and Cat Wu, only two weeks after they left for Anysphere, the team behind the Cursor coding tool. It’s the kind of signal that says a lot that whatever’s happening at Anthropic, people want to be part of it. Even if they step away, they’re coming right back.
