RegulatingAI, a nonprofit initiative of Knowledge Networks, has partnered with Ai4 2025 to launch the first-ever AI Policy Summit, taking place August 11–12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The event will bring together leaders from technology, government, and academia to address urgent questions around artificial intelligence regulation, accountability, and societal impact
Described as a first-of-its-kind event, the summit is set to address pressing questions at the heart of the AI revolution: Who is accountable when AI systems go wrong? Can regulation keep pace with exponential innovation? And how can societies protect jobs while fostering technological progress?
Notable speakers include Nicholas Dirks, president and CEO of the New York Academy of Sciences; Beth Linker, chief product officer at Finite State; and former Congressman Daniel M. Donovan Jr., who now serves on the management committee of Americraft Marine Group.

These frontrunners represent a diverse set of perspectives — spanning science, technology, national security, and public policy — and will contribute to shaping a framework for ethical and transparent AI governance.
A host of Indian American leaders also join the lineup for Ai4 2025, bringing expertise in AI product development, enterprise systems, and machine learning innovation: Amit Jain, founder and CEO of Luma AI; Srikanth Thirumalai, VP of Engineering at Waymo; Priyanka Asnani, Senior ML Engineer at Fidelity Investments; Abhishek Bafna, Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Amazon; Abhi Seth, Chief Enterprise AI & Data Officer at Boeing.
“We are proud to partner with Ai4 in building a policy platform where innovation meets accountability,” said Sanjay Puri, the chairman and founder of the RegulatingAI initiative. “This summit is more than a conference—it’s a crucial dialogue about the future we’re all about to live in.”
The summit is expected to be a rare opportunity for cross-sector collaboration, offering a space where policymakers, technologists, and civil society leaders can align on actionable strategies to guide the responsible development and deployment of artificial intelligence.
