FBI Director Kash Patel has strongly rejected claims that he misused a government aircraft to attend a concert featuring his girlfriend, singer Alexis Wilkins. Speaking out against the criticism, Patel condemned the personal attacks on Wilkins as “cowardly” and “a total disgrace.”
The uproar started after former FBI agent turned commentator Kyle Seraphin alleged on his podcast that Kash Patel used an FBI jet, reportedly valued at $60 million, to fly to Nashville on October 25 to attend Alexis Wilkins’ performance at a wrestling event. Seraphin went further, accusing Wilkins of being a “honeypot” for Israeli intelligence, an allegation Patel has flatly rejected.
Speaking against the criticism, Patel wrote in a post on X, “Let me be clear: we will not be distracted by baseless rumors or the noise from uninformed internet anarchists and the fake news. I’ve always said — criticize me all you want. But going after the people doing great work, my personal life, or those around me is a total disgrace.”

“The disgustingly baseless attacks against Alexis — a true patriot and the woman I’m proud to call my partner in life — are beyond pathetic. She is a rock-solid conservative and a country music sensation who has done more for this nation than most will in ten lifetimes. I’m so blessed she’s in my life. Attacking her isn’t just wrong — it’s cowardly and jeopardizes our safety. My love of family will always be my cornerstone, and you will never tear that down or keep me from them.”
Patel reiterated his dedication to the agency’s mission, stressing that neither he nor the FBI would be distracted by what he called baseless attacks. He said their focus remains on “taking violent criminals off the streets, crushing the fentanyl crisis, dismantling cartels, saving children, and hunting down terrorists.” The FBI director further added, “I and this FBI will stay laser-focused on our mission and continue the reform we promised — rebuilding this Bureau from the ground up. And to our supposed allies staying silent — your silence is louder than the clickbait haters.”
Responding to Seraphin’s accusation that she was a “former Mossad agent” sent to entrap Patel, Alexis Wilkins has filed a $5 million defamation lawsuit against the conservative commentator.

After the podcast gained traction online, the FBI released a statement confirming that Patel’s travel “followed all required regulations,” reiterating that no policies had been violated. The FBI swiftly pushed back against the allegations, labelling them “disingenuous.” The bureau emphasised that federal policy requires the FBI Director to use government aircraft at all times, even for personal travel, to ensure continuous access to secure communications in the event of a national emergency. Officials also noted that Patel complies with agency protocol by reimbursing the government ahead of any personal trips.
