Rama Raju Mantena, an Indian American entrepreneur, is the founder, chairman and CEO of Ingenus Pharmaceuticals, a Florida-based company headquartered in Orlando. The firm specializes in the production of generic medicines, including treatments for cancer, mental health conditions, and other critical therapeutic areas.

Under Mantena’s leadership, Ingenus has expanded its footprint globally, with research and manufacturing facilities across the United States, Switzerland, and India. Over the years, he has emerged as a prominent voice in the American pharmaceutical industry, steering innovation while expanding access to affordable medication.
Mantena has a track record of building and successfully exiting multiple healthcare ventures throughout his career. Prior to establishing Ingenus, he founded ICORE Healthcare, a company focused on cost-management strategies for specialty treatments. He also launched the International Oncology Network (ION), one of the leading group purchasing organizations in the oncology space, and OncoScripts, among the earliest specialty pharmacies in the United States dedicated to cancer care.

Mantena’s professional journey took off in Florida, where he served as CEO of P4 Healthcare before launching major healthcare ventures including ICORE Healthcare, the International Oncology Network (ION), and OncoScripts. In 2023, he reportedly acquired an ultra-luxury estate in Florida valued at nearly ₹400 crore (approximately $48 million).
