Harvard University students are set to hold the 23rd edition of India Conference on Feb 14-15, 2026 with the theme of ‘The India we Imagine’, inviting reflection on the values, complexities, and possibilities shaping India’s future.
The annual global conference on Indian business, policy, and culture is a student-driven platform that explores the rich diversity of India, spotlighting the country’s rise as a major global force, according to a media release.
This year’s theme also spotlights “voices that provoke and inspire our collective imagination.” Through three subthemes, the conference will explore the diverse forces shaping India’s identity, progress, and path forward, the release stated. “Together, these threads weave our vision for India’s future.”

Hosted at the Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School by the graduate students of Harvard University, the India Conference is one of the largest student-run conferences focusing on India in the USA.
Expressing support for the conference, leading community organization, Indiaspora posted on X, “This year’s theme, ‘The India We Imagine,’ invites teams to work on real policy challenges sourced from the state governments of Jammu & Kashmir and Chhattisgarh.”
Participants will engage in Harvard-led Masterclasses, receive mentorship from sector leaders, and compete for a prize pool of over $10,000, it announced.
For over 22 years, Harvard students across schools have united to host experts from fields such as business, economics, education, and culture, offering attendees a well-rounded perspective on India’s present landscape and future.
The conference is open to students, early-career professionals, and policy enthusiasts from all schools and backgrounds.
The event will witness participation from over 1000 attendees, attending over 30 panels, featuring over 90 speakers including Nita Ambani, founder chairperson, Reliance Foundation; fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee; Ashish Chauhan, CEO and MD, National Stock Exchange of India; and Suchitra Ella, co-founder and Managing Director, Bharat Biotech International Ltd.
