JPMorgan Chase & Co, a global leader in financial services, offering solutions to clients in more than 100 countries, has rehired Indian American healthcare executive Sri Kosaraju as a global chair of investment banking.
In his new role, Kosaraju will be based in San Francisco and advise healthcare firms. He will report to Filippo Gori and John Simmons, co‑heads of global banking.
“Welcome back to J.P. Morgan Sri Kosaraju, we’re thrilled you’ll be joining us as a Global Chair of Investment Banking, focused on the Healthcare sector,” Simmons wrote on LinkedIn.
“Sri’s impressive background, spanning more than 25 years in healthcare and technology holding banking, CEO and board roles, will be a tremendous asset as we strengthen our commitment to this critical and innovative sector,” he wrote.

Kosaraju previously served as chief executive officer of biomanufacturing company Inscripta, which combined with another firm last year.
He has previously spent 16 years at the bank, helping build its healthcare franchise.
His appointment follows the recent hiring of Jerry Lee as global chair of investment banking with a healthcare focus, as JPMorgan continues to bring in senior talent to expand its global banking franchise.
Kosaraju has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
