Priya Patel, an Indian American political commentator and conservative influencer in the United States, has once again gone viral for her views on the H-1B visa program.
Reflecting on the program, Patel said in a video posted on X, “We seriously need to eliminate the H-1B visa program altogether. So this is a map of H-1B employers throughout the United States, and it seems as though they have literally conquered the entire state of Texas. Why is this happening? Well, you have multiple immigration lawyers, each approving tens of thousands of H-1B applications.”
Citing a specific example, Patel said, “Take Chand Parvathani, for example, who himself has processed over 20,000 H-1B H-1-B applications. Where are these people working? Well, they’re running tech companies, trucking companies, body shops, out of residential properties, single family homes, all registered to dozens of H-1B B holders. And guess what? Each of these companies are receiving government funding, too.”

“Yes, yet another group of foreigners that come here with the intent of stealing your taxpayer dollars and running a fraud scheme in their backyard. And if all that wasn’t enough, the government helps them buy up our homes, too,” Patel added.
She also criticized U.S. housing policy, saying in the video, “Yes, there are programs that help H-1B holders get mortgages with little to no lines of credit here in the US. They were even receiving lower interest rates and government-backed FHA loans until just May of last year.”
“When hardworking American citizens are struggling to buy homes due to the cost of living, sky high interest rates and inflation, foreigners here on temporary visas should not be allowed to purchase homes here in the US, let alone receive extra handouts to do so,” Patel said, expressing sympathy for Americans facing housing challenges.
Calling for an end to the H-1B program, Patel added, “Furthermore, we shouldn’t continue a visa program that has largely been used to defraud our government, steal our tax dollars, steal our jobs, steal our homes, and increase the cost of practically everything for the rest of us.”
Earlier in December, Patel had also sparked debate around immigration and cultural assimilation. She said, “Not all cultures are equal. There, I said it. Guess what? All people are created equal under the eyes of God and the law, that not all cultures are equal. This is a simple fact, and I don’t understand why it is now a cardinal sin, according to the left and some on the right, to say this out loud. But it is a fact. You still have cultures today that embrace things like slavery, underage marriage, polygamy, human sacrifice. And you’re telling me that all cultures are equal and we need to allow them to come into the United States and we just need to embrace them? No, just no. And not all immigration is good.”
Patel, an Indian American conservative commentator and political influencer, has become a familiar face on Fox News, where she appears regularly as a guest and panelist. She is known for her independent voice and maintains an active presence on social media platforms such as X and Instagram, where she frequently weighs in on social issues, education reform, and U.S. politics.
