DJ&A, a multidisciplinary consulting firm with a five-decade legacy, has appointed Nikhila Srirangpatna as its new chief financial officer. She steps into the role as the firm accelerates its national expansion, bringing more than 20 years of experience in fiscal strategy and organizational scaling to the executive team.
In her new capacity, Srirangpatna will be responsible for the firm’s overarching financial governance, operational performance, and long-term strategic planning, Irving, California based company announced.
Her appointment comes at a pivotal moment for DJ&A, which has evolved from a 1973 startup focused on U.S. Forest Service projects into a powerhouse with over 120 professionals across the Western United States.

Srirangpatna’s career is defined by a consistent track record of navigating complex growth phases. Most recently, she held senior leadership positions at Verdantas, where she rose from associate vice president to vice president of finance.
During her tenure there, she was instrumental in refining financial models and managing the intricate due diligence processes required for mergers and acquisitions—skills that align closely with DJ&A’s current trajectory.
Her resume also includes significant tenures as CFO at Leighton Group and Group 206, where she focused on stabilizing financial operations in high-speed environments. Notably, she spent over a decade as the CFO of Group Delta Consultants, Inc., a role that cemented her reputation for disciplined financial management and values-based leadership.
“Nikhila brings a sophisticated understanding of how to translate financial data into actionable business outcomes,” the company noted regarding her expertise in guiding organizations through transformation.
With a Master of Accountancy (MACY) degree from Texas State University, Srirangpatna began her professional journey in accounting and corporate finance with firms such as Cooper Graci & Co and Polaris Software.

She also holds aMBA degree in Accounting and Finance from Xavier Institute of Management (XIM), Bhubaneswar and a BCom degree from St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad.
Her deep technical background is balanced by a modern approach to stakeholder management and corporate governance.
Srirangpatna will lead a team tasked with ensuring DJ&A maintains its technical excellence while exploring new market opportunities. The firm, known for its professional services ranging from engineering to environmental consulting, views her arrival as a cornerstone of its mission to enhance its national strategic capabilities.
As the consulting industry faces shifting economic landscapes, Srirangpatna’s background in M&A and operational efficiency positions DJ&A to remain resilient.
Her leadership is expected to provide the financial foundation necessary for the firm to continue its 50-year tradition of technical service while embracing the challenges of a larger, national footprint.
