President Donald Trump’s man seems to have had a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Dr. Mehmet Oz, Trump’s administrator of the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, emailed an invitation to a Valentine’s Day party in 2016 to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, U.S. Justice Department documents show.
As per the documents, the email, dated Feb. 1, 2016, was addressed to Epstein and contained a digital invitation for a celebration hosted by Dr. Oz and his wife, Liza Oz. The subject line reportedly read: “Mehmet and Liza Oz’s Valentine’s Day Celebration.”

These documents are part of a broader release of millions of pages related to Epstein, following legislative requirements for disclosure and court proceedings stemming from his criminal convictions. The files include numerous emails, references, and communications involving prominent individuals, and Dr. Oz’s name appears multiple times. However, it is crucial to note that there is no allegation of criminal conduct by Dr. Oz in connection with Epstein or his criminal activities, and the significance of his interaction with Epstein remains subject to interpretation.
Oz, formerly a celebrity physician on TV, sent the invite almost a decade after Epstein’s first sex crime charges became public in July 2006. The financier died by suicide in 2019, awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
The revelation has drawn public attention due to Oz’s high-profile role in federal health policy and his previous celebrity status. Analysts suggest that while the email itself does not imply wrongdoing, the broader implications of Oz’s relationship or communications with Epstein are uncertain, and how this might influence public perception or policy discussions is still evolving.
