A social media post has triggered debate online after an X user accused a dancer of being disrespectful by filming a dance video at the World War II Memorial. The person at the center of the controversy is TikToker Madhu Raju, who is known for posting dance videos on social media.
Raju recently drew attention for the wrong reasons after sharing a video in which he was seen dancing with a female companion at the World War II Memorial. The clip quickly went viral and sparked criticism from many online users who argued that performing a dance at a site dedicated to war veterans was inappropriate.
As the backlash grew, Raju appeared to take down his Instagram account, with his profile no longer accessible.
According to an account on X, Madhu Raju is said to be working as a Cloud Network Security Engineer at Palo Alto Networks. The post went further and urged the company to terminate him and replace the role with an American worker.
The post read, “If you fire this employee and issue a statement, it will help repair most of the damage. If you want to turn this into a positive public relations opportunity, hire an American for this role. There have been thousands of layoffs in the technology sector, leaving many unemployed (sic).”

Meanwhile, the video showing Raju dancing at the World War II Memorial has continued to circulate widely online, drawing more than a million views on X alone. It is still unclear who the woman seen dancing with him in the clip is. However, some social media users have claimed that she may be singer Manisha Eerabathini.
On her Instagram page, Eerabathini has shared several dance videos featuring Raju, which has further fueled speculation online.
Raju also runs a dance studio in Dallas called MAD Dance. Following the backlash over the viral video, the studio’s online presence appears to have been taken down, with its X account, Instagram page, and website no longer accessible.
The same X account also claimed that Madhu Raju would be reported to the United States Department of State on Monday over alleged visa violations, which the user said could lead to his visa being revoked.
