Change.org petition seek removal of section 377.

BANGALORE: Bollywood celebrities Karan Johar and Abhishek Bachchan, among others, have come together for a petition to support decriminalizing of homosexuality in India.
The petition was for a website change.org floated by the Humsafar Trust. The petition urges the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to remove section 377 of the IPC via proper legislative process.
Talaash director Reema Kagti had tweeted a link of the petition with a message: “HOMOPHOBIA A fear some have that a gay man will treat them the way they treat women J Spread Love. Sign this & RTâ€

While homosexuality is still one of the most sensitive issues in the country, the top celebs of B-Town are all getting together to speak against it. Whether Modi will pay heed to the petition remains to be seen.
