The highly anticipated Dubai AI Week 2025 has officially kicked off at the Museum of the Future and Emirates Towers, bringing together global experts, decision-makers, innovators, and industry leaders from the world’s most prominent AI-focused institutions and companies.
The AI Week, taking place under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, is set to make a significant impact on the AI landscape.
Dubai AI Week 2025 is set to attract over 10,000 participants from more than 100 countries, with over 180 speakers, 150 workshops, and 140 AI-powered activations. This initiative underscores Dubai’s commitment to positioning itself as a global hub for AI innovation and governance.
Among a number of events hosted in different parts of the city is the Dubai AI Festival, which takes place in Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, on April 23 to 24. The American Bazaar is a media partner for this event.
The AI Week is dedicated to advancing the conversation on artificial intelligence, with a focus on its potential to transform industries, societies, and governance frameworks. Organized by the Dubai AI Campus and in partnership with the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy & Remote Work Applications Office, the event aims to showcase Dubai’s vision for the future of AI.

The festival will feature an impressive lineup of speakers, including Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, and Werner Vogels, CTO of Amazon. Other notable speakers include Parminder Bhatia, Chief AI Officer at GE Healthcare, Dr. Sara Alshaya, Director Data & Statistics, Emirates Health Services and Amer Al Sayegh Al Ghaferi, Assistant Director General of the Aerospace Engineering Sector at Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center, among many others.

- AI Retreat (April 21): A closed-door gathering of global AI leaders and policymakers discussing strategies and governance frameworks.
- Dubai Assembly for AI (April 21–24): A platform for policymakers, CEOs, and academics to discuss AI’s evolving role in global economies and societies.
- Global Prompt Engineering Championship (April 22–23): The world’s largest generative AI competition, featuring challenges in art, video, gaming, and coding, with a prize pool of $272,000.
- Machines Can See Summit (April 23–24): A significant AI policy and ethics forum addressing the theme ‘Good AI: Making the World a Safer Place.’
- AI Week in Schools (April 21–25): An initiative to equip students and educators with essential AI skills.
