Indian American conservative influencer Priya Patel is drawing fresh attention online after posting a video that sharply criticizes Democrats and media coverage around immigration and crime, reigniting a polarizing debate that continues to divide public opinion in the United States.
In a clip shared on X, Patel wrote, “Democrats are still out here peddling the lie that there’s no migrant crime, but the numbers don’t lie and American citizens are the ones paying the price.” The video quickly gained traction, adding to her growing presence in conservative digital circles.
In the footage, Patel challenges what she calls the narrative that migrant crime is nonexistent. “So-called migrant crime. That’s it. Honestly, you cannot overstate the deluge of coverage,” she says, before pushing back on claims she says are frequently repeated. “I still hear this argument echoed all of the time. Migrant crime doesn’t exist. Well, tell that to the families of Lake and Riley, of Rachel Morin, of Jocelyn Nungary, of Megan Boss, of Kayla Hamilton.”

She continues by linking those cases to broader immigration concerns, stating, “All American daughters, mothers, and sisters murdered by, you guessed it, illegal immigrants. They’re just a few on the list of many.”
Patel also takes aim at Democratic lawmakers, including Jasmine Crockett, and what she describes as “left-wing media,” accusing them of dismissing concerns about crime tied to immigration. “They’re sitting here and looking Americans straight in the eye, gaslighting us, and we’re the ones paying the price,” she says.
In the video, Patel attempts to back her claims by referencing data she says she pulled using Grok. She is seen typing, “Give me crime stats for illegal immigrants or criminal non citizens. Facts only,” before citing figures she claims reflect large numbers of criminal charges in Texas.

“Tens of thousands, oh no, hundreds of thousands of violent offenses committed by illegal aliens,” she says, adding that the data shows “811,000 total criminal charges, including 1,729 homicides.”
She frames these numbers as evidence of what she calls the long-term consequences of immigration policies. “This is what happens when you import millions, unvetted, without assimilation, and without consequences. American families are the ones paying the price, not the elite and the media that have been peddling these open border lies,” Patel argues.
The viral moment comes weeks after Patel appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored, hosted by Piers Morgan, where her views on immigration were also front and center. Morgan introduced her as a “conservative influencer whose video on immigration has been viewed 30 million times this week so far.”

That earlier clip featured Patel saying, “This is your friendly reminder that immigration without assimilation is invasion. Got it,” a line that sparked intense reactions online, drawing both strong support and criticism.
During the interview, Patel also discussed her family background, explaining that her father was born in Uganda and later moved to England as a child after the expulsion of Indians under dictator Idi Amin. “My father is full Indian,” she said, noting that he eventually immigrated to the United States as a teenager.
