Governance, risk, and compliance software leader NAVEX has appointed Indian American executive Arpan Sheth as its new chief executive officer. Sheth joins the company to guide its next phase of global expansion and product innovation, particularly focusing on expanding its artificial intelligence capabilities to meet increasingly complex regulatory landscapes.
The appointment positions a veteran corporate strategist with extensive international experience at the helm of the compliance software company, which serves more than 13,000 customers worldwide.
Sheth built his core educational foundation in the United States, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia. He later advanced his academic credentials by obtaining an MBA from the university’s Darden School of Business.

During his tenure at Bain, he held leadership roles across the firm’s New York, Sydney, and India offices, which included heading the private equity and alternative investor practice in India.
His strategic work focused extensively on advising technology, software, and services companies across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia on digital transformation, growth strategy, and operational excellence.

At NAVEX, Sheth will oversee the company’s global strategy and operations as businesses navigate heightened risk landscapes. Company board members highlighted Sheth’s proven track record of scaling organizations, building high-performing teams, and executing digital transformations as key factors for his selection.
“NAVEX plays a critical role in helping organizations manage risk and build ethical, resilient businesses,” Sheth stated vowing to accelerate innovation and deliver greater value to global partners.
The transition underscores the continued growth of prominent Indian American leaders in top executive roles within major global software firms. Sheth will lead the Oregon-headquartered company while managing a footprint that spans North America, Europe, and Asia.
