The bouncers who assaulted the physician should also be in jail.

NEW DELHI: The mediocre singer Mika Singh, who is more famous for being the brother of singer Daler Mehndi than for his vocal chords, has been charged by the police for publicly slapping a physician after some bouncers of his dragged the physician on to the stage at the behest of the singer.
The question is, despite the video being available on the social media, and which can be seen here, why is Mika Singh and those bouncers not in jail as yet? What are the Indian authorities waiting for?
It seems that the boor of a singer, who seems to have an anger management problem and also seems to be inclined to violence if his ego is hurt – last year there were reports of Singh hitting two men on the road involving a car, which he says was not true, though – was upset that the physician was not obeying his commands from stage to move to another section in the audience.
The question, who the hell does this idiot Mika Singh think he is? He should realize that his job is to sing and entertain the crowd who have paid him money to be there and his job is to perform, and not do crowd management gangsta style, and behave like a monkey. And perhaps, going by the career graph of Singh which is on the downwards curve, he might soon be better off employed as a bouncer than as a singer.
According to reports, Singh was singing (or rather slapping) at a concert hosted by the Delhi Ophthalmological Society as a part of the three-day conference. The Indian Express reported that at some point of the concert, Singh ordered men and women to be distanced from each other at the conference, like they do in schools in Pakistan.
Towards the end of the show, while most of the doctors were having dinner at the buffet, the music stopped and one could hear Singh asking the bouncers to get a doctor from among the audience onto the stage, reported the Express.
And as can be seen in the video, when the physician is hauled onto the stage, Mika Singh, flanked by his bouncers, slaps him hard, shows the middle finger, and then directs the physician to be taken away by his bouncers. At no point does the physician show any signs of violence himself, and is in fact seen as confused and scared of the aggressive intent of Singh.
The Express reported that there were cries by some physicians, saying: ‘Kisi band baaje waale ko bulaao, aur woh aapko thhappad maar de? Aise chalta hai kya?â€
If this idiot Mika Singh had done the same thing in a developed nation like the US or the UK, he would have been prosecuted by now, and would have had to take bail to stay out of prison, till his case comes up for hearing.
The Indian authorities should learn not to support these so called celebrities, and indulge their egos and might of muscle power.
Singh also released a ridiculous statement, giving his version of the story, where the only important thing is that he acknowledges that he should not have slapped the physician.
Singh says in the statement: “I called him up on stage, and asked him whether he would feel just as comfortable doing the same actions on stage or in front of his family. He continued his tirade of swearing after which I lost my cool which I probably shouldn’t have and slapped him.â€
Organizers in the US beware of inviting this clod Mika Singh to sing at some event in the future. He might just slap somebody else in the audience. The organizers should be sued too in that case.
