Leading chipmaker Nvidia announced a personal supercomputer named Project Digits at the CES tech fair in Las Vegas on Jan. 7.
Chief Executive Jensen Huang made the announcement through his keynote speech which included that pricing for the supercomputer starts at $3,000, and is expected to be available through various manufacturers from May 2025.
The compact device incorporates a previously unveiled Nvidia chip, designated GB10, which facilitates work on sophisticated AI models.

Nvidia’s chips have become essential for the fast-growing AI industry. Many big tech companies like Google, Meta, and AI start-ups like OpenAI use Nvidia’s systems to help train AI programs in their data centers.
At CES 2025, Nvidia also introduced its new Cosmos platform, designed to help build physical AI systems like robots and self-driving cars. This platform uses special AI models called world foundation models (WFMs), which create simulations of real-world conditions.
During his presentation, Huang also spoke about the future of autonomous vehicles and how they could grow into a trillion-dollar market. Nvidia also reportedly plans to introduce a computer called Thor, designed to process data from multiple vehicle sensors, with potential applications in humanoid robots as well.
All in all, Nvidia had a pretty impressive showing at CES this year.
