Celebrities featured heavily in the Fox network advertisements during the Super Bowl this year. Many companies made use of celebrities to grab eyeballs during this much-watched event. Featured celebs include multiple superstar female athletes from Nike, as well as numerous individuals from the entertainment industry.
Nike’s Super Bowl ad—the first in three decades—features female athletes like Caitlin Clark, A’ja Wilson, Sabrina Ionescu, Jordan Chiles, Sha’carri Richardson, and Aryna Sabalenka, as well as the Grammy-winning rapper, Doechii.

Matthew McConaughey, Martha Stewart, and Charli XCX featured in ads for UberEats, while Michael Strassner was in an ad for Dorritos. An ad for MSC cruises featured Orlando Bloom, and Drew Barrymore, while Doja Cat featured in one for Taco Bell.
Kris Jenner, Chris Pratt, and Chris Hemsworth were part of an ad for Meta, Harrison Ford featured in an ad for Jeep, and Antonio Banderas was in an ad for Bosch. Other brands that featured celebrities in their ads include Novartis, Coffee Mate, Bud Light, Stella Artois, Dove, FanDuel, Pringles etc.
AI-driven ads also featured prominently. OpenAI made its Super Bowl ad debut, with the aim of bringing ChatGPT to the masses, while Google took the opportunity to showcase its Gemini chatbot.
Meta promoted its AI-powered smart glasses in an ad featuring three “Chrisses” (Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, and Kris Jenner), while Salesforce advertised Agentforce, its platform for building autonomous AI agents in an ad starring Matthew McConaughey. Web-hosting platform GoDaddy also advertised its AI product “Airo”.

Cirkul, a water bottle company also featured AI in its ad, though it was not advertising an AI product, rather it took a playful jab at AI.
An ad spot during the Super Bowl has been more coveted than ever, with advertisers paying up to $8 million for a spot. This cost has only risen over the years, with it having gone up from $2.95 million in 2010.
