One of the largest student-led conferences on India outside the country, the India Conference at Harvard (ICH), returns this weekend for its 22nd edition. Taking place Feb. 15-16, the event will bring together more than 90 speakers, 35 panel discussions, and two new competitions, promising a weekend of high-impact discussions and networking opportunities.
This year’s theme, “From India to the World,” highlights the country’s growing influence across business, policy, culture, and academia. Notable keynote speakers include business leader Nita Ambani, designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Indian School of Business founding dean and Ashoka University founder Pramath Raj Sinha, Bharat Biotech co-founder Suchitra Ella, and NSE Managing Director and CEO Ashish Chauhan.

Ayush Shukla, one of the co-chairs for ICH 2025, noted: “The India Conference has always strived to push the boundaries of dialogue around India’s growth story. This year’s theme ‘From India to the World’ captures the essence of India’s transformative journey—where local ingenuity meets global impact. I think…this theme celebrates not only the success stories of our technological prowess and development growth that have emerged from India, but also showcases the lessons Indians offer about collaborative communities, vibrant culture, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit.”
“This year’s theme builds on last year’s theme, ‘India Rising.’ It’s about how India is now influencing the world with its ideas, talent, and innovations—a leader, not just a follower,” Co-Chair Arpit Garg added.

New to this year’s event is Launchpad @ ICH, featuring a startup pitch competition with $15,000 in non-dilutive funding and a policy hackathon offering over $10,000 in cash prizes. Additionally, the first-ever Art@ICH will spotlight the work of 10 traditional Indian artists, including a workshop by renowned Gond artist Smt. Saroj Venkat Shyam.
The conference will also feature more than 35 panel discussions covering India’s role in global business, technology, climate, foreign policy, and culture.
Sold out ahead of its opening day, the India Conference at Harvard continues to be a key platform for discussions shaping India’s global engagement.
