President Donald Trump is bringing Ultimate Fighting to the White House. Trump announced that the White House will host a UFC event in 2026 in honor of America’s 250th birthday.
It certainly looks like Trump is using the White House as a staging ground to promote his friends and their businesses. First it was Elon Musk and his Tesla parade and now, it’s Dana White with his extremely violent combat sport.
Trump was speaking to a crowd on Thursday, July 3 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds when he mentioned that White and UFC will use the space available at the White House to host close to 25,000 spectators for the upcoming fight card.
“We’re going to have some incredible events, some professional events, some amateur events. But the UFC fight is going to be a big deal, too,” Trump said.

Turning the White House into a modern day colosseum of sorts is not only problematic but downright disgraceful. But it looks like Trump may indeed be riding the high of getting his “Big, Beautiful Bill” passed through Congress, and he may very well consider his exhibition of the UFC at the White House a treat for himself.
“We’re going to have a UFC fight on the grounds of the White House. Championship fight — full fight,” said Trump.
It is no secret that White has been a supporter of Trump for a long time. White introduced Trump at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in 2024.
“I know President Trump is a fighter,” White said while introducing Trump to the crowd. “I’m in the tough guy business and this man is the toughest, most resilient human being that I’ve ever met in my life.”
