Leaders in sustainability, renewable energy, and climate innovation gathered in Dubai for Trescon’s “CARE Dialogues,” a prelude to the CARE MENA summit scheduled for Nov. 26–27 at Madinat Jumeirah.
CARE (Climate Action & Renewable Energy) is a global initiative by Trescon designed as a marketplace for partnerships and investments. By convening leaders across government, industry, and finance, CARE seeks to mobilize capital for sustainable infrastructure and scale climate technologies with measurable outcomes.
Hosted by Supercool Mobility, Charging Interface Initiative (CharIN), and the Global Education Energy Environment Organization, CARE Dialogues centered on strategies for scaling renewable energy, advancing sustainable mobility, and creating circular energy systems that integrate generation, storage, and reuse.

Naveen Bhardwaj, group CEO of Trescon, emphasized the collaborative vision behind the series, “Our CARE series in Dubai, Riyadh, and New Delhi unite the government, industry, academia, solution providers, investors, ClimateTech startups, and the wider community, as driving climate action and making sustainability consciously happen is a collective responsibility. Focused group discussions during our Dialogues give the sustainability community an opportunity to help shape the main event’s agenda and make it fully outcome driven.”

One highlight of the event came from Neutral Fuels, a UAE-based pioneer in biodiesel produced from recycled cooking oil. Charles Gardner, Chief Operations Officer, underlined the practical impact of such initiatives: “It’s an honour to join the CARE Dialogues and share how Neutral Fuels is shaping a sustainable future. By turning local waste cooking oil into biodiesel, we cut emissions and power the UAE’s fleets, locomotives, power generators and more. Switch the fuel, shift the future.”
The Dialogues also attracted key corporate partners and solution providers preparing to showcase their sustainability innovations at CARE MENA. Participants include S&P Global, Emicool, Supercool, emtribe, Cero Hero, Demandify, KonfHub, Fia Ventures, and Trescon Foundation. Each is committed to demonstrating scalable ESG and sustainability projects across industries.
The upcoming CARE MENA summit promises high-profile speakers such as H.E. Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, former UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment; Gauri Singh, Deputy Director-General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA); Sven Deckers, Director of Sustainability at Dubai Airports; and Rajesh Garg, Group CFO and Chief Sustainability Officer at Landmark Group. Senior leaders from Aramex, Zurich Insurance, Banque Misr, and the Arab Hospitals Federation will also address the gathering.
Beyond technology and policy, the CARE series underscores the importance of aligning private capital with public sector goals. With the UAE at the forefront of climate commitments, the Dialogues highlighted opportunities to strengthen the regional ecosystem for climate finance and accelerate the adoption of renewable and sustainable mobility solutions.
