Six Indian American business women figure among finalists for the 22nd Stevie® Awards for Women in Business, an international competition that shines a spotlight on women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and organizations run by women.
The Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie winners in five inaugural categories sponsored by Persistent, a leading global technology company, to recognize the achievements of female technology leaders will be revealed during an award ceremony on Nov. 10, 2025.
The finalists were selected from more than 1,500 nominations from 48 nations submitted by organizations and individuals.
The Indian American finalists are: Madhu Kochar of IBM, Aravinda Gollapudi of Sage, Vishlesha Patil of Early Warning Services, Gurpreet Kaur of GE Healthcare, Tanuja Korlepra of Bonterra, Aravinda Gollapud, head of the Platform Business Unit at Sage and Kiran Kaur of Wells Fargo.

Madhu Kochar, based in San Jose, was shortlisted in the “AI Transformation Game Changer of the Year” category for her leadership at IBM.
Aravinda Gollapudi, who heads the Platform Business Unit at Sage and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, was also named in the same category.
Vishlesha Patil, Chief Product Officer at Early Warning Services, and Gurpreet Kaur, CIO for Global Supply Chain at GE Healthcare, are finalists for “Cloud and Data Visionary of the Year.” Patil is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, while Kaur represents GE Healthcare’s global operations.
Tanuja Korlepra, Chief Technology Officer at Bonterra, was recognized under the “AI Vanguard and Leadership Award,” and Kiran Kaur, CIO for Platforms, Wealth & Investment Management at Wells Fargo in New York, was selected for the “Software Engineering Trailblazer Award.”
