Rapper Cardi B is pushing back after a political advisor to President Donald Trump made claims about her alleged connections to a company accused of running an online bot campaign tied to her longtime rival, Nicki Minaj.
Cardi B said she is considering legal action against Alex Bruesewitz, who has served as an adviser to Trump, over remarks suggesting she had links to a firm at the center of the controversy.
The dispute appears to have been sparked by a since-deleted post from Bruesewitz on X. In that message, he pointed to reporting by journalist Jason Beeferman, who highlighted findings from tech firm Cyabra alleging that a network of bots was promoting #NickiMinaj in connection with her recent conservative stance.
Bruesewitz went further, suggesting Beeferman had ties to Cardi B’s circle. He labeled the reporter a “fake news hack” and claimed he “is partnered with Cardi B’s agent,” an allegation that intensified the dispute.
Cardi B fired back in a furious response on X, flatly rejecting any suggestion that she was connected to the people or claims being circulated.
“Show me where I’m affiliated with this person or they affiliated to anybody that I work with… I don’t have no affiliation to Roc Nation you dumb ss!” she wrote, dismissing the allegations outright.
She also rejected speculation dragging her former label, Roc Nation, into the controversy, calling the narrative “very ridiculous.”
“The conspiracy theories with Roc Nation is getting very ridiculous…The fact that you work for the government and defaming my name with false allegations.. I’m going to f*cking sue you. Get familiar with my game!!!” she added, making clear she views the claims as defamatory and is prepared to escalate the fight legally.
In another post, Cardi B wrote on X, “Listen, you involved me in something that has nothing to do wit me so now we’re gonna talk about the facts.. Cyabra is a data company with a lot of investors like Mike G, customers like Elon Musk and Pepsi that use that company for data and even has Mike Pompeo on the board of advisors.. so what you need to focus on is the fact that data is VERY real and leave me out of your bullshit. I do not have anything to do with that and I don’t give AF!! Now lie and say that’s not true!!! See what happen when you involve me in shit that don’t have nothing to do with me? I get down to the GRISTLE of it!! And btw I am still gonna sue you, you wet dirty dog”

Bruesewitz did not back down, even after Cardi B removed her initial post. He claimed she “immediately deleted her threat after I provided facts that her rep is, in fact, involved with the company that produced the @NICKIMINAJ ‘bot’ hoax! You didn’t have to delete it, Cardi.”
Cardi B, however, continued to insist she had nothing to do with Cyabra’s data or the report about alleged bot activity.
The dispute unfolded against the backdrop of another controversy earlier in the month, when Cardi B criticized Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during a concert in Palm Desert, California. While addressing the crowd, she encouraged fans to speak out against the agency and at one point said: “B—h, if ICE come in here, we gon jump they a – ses.” She also told the audience she had bear mace inside the venue and declared: “They ain’t takin my fans, b—h.”
Bruesewitz, a Trump supporter, sharply condemned those remarks, calling Cardi B a “disgusting person” and accusing her of attempting to “incite violence against our ICE officers.”

The back-and-forth escalated further after Bruesewitz reposted videos of Nicki Minaj, who has appeared at Trump administration events and has previously clashed publicly with Cardi B. Minaj also attended Bruesewitz’s South Florida wedding earlier this month, adding another personal dimension to an already heated feud.
The controversy widened when the Department of Homeland Security weighed in on Cardi B’s comments about ICE. In a post on social media, the agency wrote: “As long as she doesn’t drug and rob our agents, we’ll consider that an improvement over her past behavior.”
The remark appeared to reference admissions Cardi B has made in the past about her life before fame. The rapper has previously acknowledged that she drugged and robbed men while working as a stripper, a period she has described as one of survival.
“Whether or not they were poor choices at the time, I did what I had to do to survive,” she said at the time, addressing the backlash over those revelations.
