Lauren Sanchez Bezos told The New York Times that she was eager to have a baby with her husband billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
“I would have another one tomorrow. Tomorrow,” the former broadcast journalist, 56, said. When asked for clarification, she simply repeated, “I would have a baby tomorrow.”
Jeff and Lauren Sanchez Bezos got married last June in a star-studded ceremony. While Jeff has three sons and one daughter with his ex-wife MacKenzie Scott, Lauren has a son and a daughter with her ex-husband, Patrick Whitsell, and a son with another previous partner, Tony Gonzalez.

Lauren Sanchez Bezos had previously told Today in March that getting to hear each of her kids give speeches was “the most meaningful and impactful moment” of her and Jeff’s wedding day, especially since she’d spent some time helping one of her sons in his journey with dyslexia.”
“The biggest moment was with my kids. They all got to do speeches,” she recalled at the time. “Jeff’s kids did speeches, my kids, and one of my kids, who is dyslexic — and he lets me talk about it — went up there and talked about a moment that was extremely important to him, and I had no idea what he was going to say.”
“He was in the fourth grade and not writing well and he wrote this sentence that says, ‘I can do this.’ And it was his first sentence,” she continued of her son Evan. “I blew it up and I put it in our kitchen, and it says, ‘I can do this.’ Anyway, he talked about how special that moment was for him.”
Sanchez Bezos had also told Extra a few days earlier that the speech her daughter Ella gave during the ceremony was so emotional that it moved her to tears.

“All of our kids gave speeches, mine and Jeff’s, and they were all so meaningful,” she told the outlet. “My daughter gave a speech during the ceremony, this was before we said our vows, and [I] started bawling. Like, I could not — I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh’ right before the pictures.”
The couple’s multi-million dollar wedding had seen significant backlash, with people criticizing them for wealth hoarding, and calling on the billionaire to pay more taxes. Bezos’s ties to President Donald Trump had also been heavily scrutinized. Sanchez Bezos addressed some of these criticisms, saying I can never imagine writing something mean on somebody’s Instagram. “It would actually break my heart,” she told the Times. “I want positive: You look great. You’re amazing. I want to just give everyone flowers. Why wouldn’t you?”
