President Donald Trump escalated his rhetoric toward Iran on Wednesday, warning the country to “get smart soon” in a Truth Social post as tensions over stalled nuclear talks continue.
“Iran can’t get their act together. They don’t know how to sign a nonnuclear deal. They better get smart soon!,” Trump posted on Truth Social shortly after 4 a.m. ET on Wednesday.
The post was accompanied by an AI-generated picture of Trump holding a gun with explosions in the background, and the words “NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!”
“We have all the cards,” the president told Fox News, adding that if Iran wanted to talk, “they can come to us, or they can call us.” Previous negotiations led by Vice President JD Vance also ended without a deal.

It was reported by Reuters earlier Tuesday that Trump was not happy with Tehran’s proposal, however, and the White House was expected to return with a counteroffer.
This is not the first time the president is using an AI generated image to make a point. Earlier in the year, amid his ever-escalating feud with the Pope, Trump posted an AI-generated image of himself allegedly depicting himself as Jesus. After some raised eyebrows, he soon took it down and backtracked saying that he was presenting himself as a doctor and not as Jesus.
As per CNBC, the post comes as the crucial Strait of Hormuz remains blockaded and as the status of talks with Iran remains uncertain, with attempts to continue negotiations in the last few days seemingly stalled.
The rise of AI-generated media raises important questions about authenticity, intent, and accountability in political communication. Even when such content is used for emphasis or commentary, it can still blur perceptions and contribute to confusion about what is literal, symbolic, or strategically exaggerated. As a result, media literacy and careful verification have become increasingly essential tools for navigating modern information environments.
