Americans are preparing to celebrate the nation’s 250th birthday, also known as the Semiquincentennial, which marks two and a half centuries since the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The milestone is expected to be one of the largest patriotic commemorations in U.S. history, with nationwide events being coordinated by the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission, established by Congress to oversee the anniversary celebrations.
Located at 170 S. 1st St. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum opened to the public on Feb. 1, 2019. In addition to showcasing thousands of bobbleheads, the museum produces custom bobbleheads for retail sales, organizations, individuals, and sports teams across the country, according to a statement by the museum.
