The appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Aeris. As enterprises and capital markets increasingly shift investment toward autonomous systems, robotics, and software-defined mobility, the connectivity and security demands placed on physical hardware have grown more complex and more mission-critical, the company stated.
Sathyamurthy joins to scale Aeris’ go-to-market organization globally, sharpen the company’s category leadership, and accelerate its reach into new physical AI markets, building on a connectivity footprint that already connects 115 million devices and supports 45 million vehicles on the road today.
“As Physical AI reshapes how the world moves, builds, and operates, our customers need a partner who can match that pace,” said Aziz Benmalek, Aeris CEO and Board Director. “Suresh brings the experience and vision, and I’m confident he’ll help us scale with the speed and ambition this market demands.”

“AI is moving off the screen and into the physical world, powering autonomous fleets, robotics, and intelligent infrastructure everywhere,” said Sathyamurthy. “Few companies have the connectivity and security foundation Aeris has built over the years. I’m excited to build on that foundation and work alongside Aziz and the team to lead this next era of growth.”
Suresh joins Aeris with more than two decades of executive leadership with industry leaders such as Palo Alto Networks, Dell EMC, and Microsoft, as well as with high-growth startups. He helped grow Microsoft Azure from inception into a multi-billion business and led marketing for the largest division of Palo Alto Networks.
With a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India, Sathyamurthy has an MBA from UW Foster School of Business. He also participated in General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
