The Columbia University School of Professional Studies has named Indian American finance leader Neesha Hathi to the advisory board for its Master’s in Wealth Management program. Hathi currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Wealth Advisory, Banking, and Trust Services at The Charles Schwab Corporation.
“The excitement is all mine!” she wrote in her LinkedIn profile. “I’m honored to contribute alongside fellow council members, share perspectives from the industry, and help support a curriculum that prepares students for the future of wealth management.”

University officials cited her experience across leadership, innovation, and client-focused strategy as key assets for the academic advisory body, which helps guide curriculum development and industry alignment for graduate students. “We’re excited to welcome Neesha Hathi,” the university announced on their official website.
Before assuming her current role at Charles Schwab, Hathi served as Chief Digital Officer, overseeing digital platforms, wealth management applications, and technology-driven investment solutions. She also serves as an independent director on the corporate board of The Cigna Group.
Hathi’s professional foundation is grounded in business and finance education. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and also holds Series 7 and Series 24 securities licenses.
