The SpaceX AI team announced that it will hold a three-day livestream event from Sept. 15-17 to demonstrate how it uses the Grok bot to develop business plans, determine product features and complete engineering work, turning concepts into operational businesses.
The team will demonstrate the process from product conception to engineering development. It will also showcase how Grok is used at different stages of the business through special sessions involving various departments. The livestream will run from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT each day.
The first day of the event is on Sept. 15. The schedule includes an introduction to Grok Bot, engineering development, and special sessions for product managers and founders.

The next day, Sept. 16, will focus on sales engineering, sales, sales development representatives (SDRs) and customer support. Sessions on Sept. 17 will cover marketing operations, post-sales and marketing.
During the event, the SpaceX AI team will also demonstrate how Grok participates in different stages of the business, from writing the first line of code to helping customers succeed. It will also share specific use cases for different job functions, according to AI Base.
The event comes shortly after SpaceX made a major acquisition. The company completed its $60 billion acquisition of AI coding startup Cursor on Friday. The companies first partnered in April, giving Elon Musk’s company the right to acquire Cursor. SpaceX committed to the acquisition in June.
According to Business Insider, Cursor worked with SpaceX to train Grok 4.5 using “trillions of tokens of Cursor data,” the AI coding company said. It was the first model Cursor developed that was not designed solely for software engineering.

A month earlier, SpaceX launched Grok 4.6, its latest frontier artificial intelligence model designed to maintain focus across extended, multistep tasks, including software engineering, technical research and automated system operations.
Third-party testing from Artificial Analysis showed Grok 4.6 scoring 61 on its Intelligence Index. The result tied OpenAI’s GPT-5.6 Sol Max and placed Grok 4.6 ahead of Moonshot AI’s open-weight model Kimi K3, according to the company.
Rather than positioning the release solely around raw intelligence scores, SpaceX AI designed Grok 4.6 to address operational drift in long-running AI workloads.
