Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on X that he believes superintelligence “will create significant new opportunities for all people and businesses” and announced the launch of Meta Enterprise Platform.
“Meta Enterprise Platform will use our strengths that few other companies have: advanced models, leading agents, large-scale infrastructure, and years of working closely with many businesses. Initially, we will focus on bringing our full technology stack, including the Muse agent, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, Muse Code, and more to businesses and developers to help them grow,” Zuckerberg said.

Zuckerberg also announced that Chirantan “CJ” Desai would join Meta as chief platform officer to lead the initiative, reporting directly to him. He described Desai as an experienced enterprise leader with a track record of building full-stack software and delivering results in AI, infrastructure, business applications and security.
Desai joins Meta from MongoDB, where he served as CEO and president. Before that, he led product and engineering at Cloudflare and spent nearly eight years at ServiceNow, including as president and COO.
“I’m excited about beginning this new chapter for Meta and looking forward to working closely with CJ,” Zuckerberg said.
According to TechCrunch, the launch builds on the momentum of Muse, Meta’s personal AI assistant launched earlier this month that can perform tasks for users, including sending emails and booking travel. Meta said the enterprise platform will bring its technology stack, including Muse, Meta Business Agent, Muse API and Muse Code, to businesses and developers.
“Over the coming years, AI will fundamentally redefine how organizations of all sizes innovate, grow, serve customers, and run business operations,” Desai said in a statement. “Meta has a unique role to play because it is bringing together advanced models and leading agents with a proven track record of helping millions of advertisers and hundreds of millions of businesses scale. Meta Enterprise Platform will focus on turning its AI stack into products and services that companies can deploy for their own businesses.”

TechCrunch reported that the move could also help Meta generate returns on its significant investment in AI.
Earlier this year, Meta launched Muse AI, positioning it as a key step toward more advanced, general-purpose AI systems. Meta described Muse as a model designed to understand and generate complex outputs across different domains, signaling a shift toward more adaptable AI systems.
According to the company, the model reflects “a step forward in building systems that can reason, create, and assist in more open-ended ways.”
