Hamming AI, an automated voice agent testing and call analytics platform, has raised $3.8 million in seed funding to make voice AI agents more reliable.
The funding round was led by Mischief, with participation from Y Combinator, Coalition, AI Grant, Pioneer Fund, Coalition Operators, Orange Collective, Twenty Two, Transpose Platform, Olive Tree Capital and a group of angel investors.
Hamming, founded in 2024, automates testing for AI voice agents. For instance, an AI drive-through startup can use Hamming to simulate thousands of simultaneous phone calls to achieve 99.99% agent order accuracy.

AI voice agents are a breakout category—a recent Gartner survey found that 85% of customer service leaders will explore or pilot a customer-facing conversational generative AI solution in 2025. Enterprise teams currently test their voice agents by hand and listen to calls manually when launching them to production. This is slow, ad-hoc, and unsystematic.
Hamming AI automates this process entirely. The team is reportedly building the essential toolkit developers, product, and operations teams need to develop trustworthy, reliable voice agents. This seed capital will go a long way in helping Hamming’s purpose. Their AI solutions are designed to enhance voice interactions in various industries, such as customer support, virtual assistants, and voice-activated applications.
“If 2024 was the year of the prototype, 2025 will be the year of reliability,” wrote Sumanyu Sharma, CEO and co-founder of Hamming AI, in the company’s blog, looking forward to making Hamming’s platform the go-to in the new year.
Co-founders Sharma and Marius Buleandra bring rich experience from their time at Citizen, Tesla, Anduril, and Spell (acquired by Reddit). At Citizen, Sharma helped quadruple the platform’s user base as head of data, while Marius drove data infrastructure development and played a pivotal role in scaling AI operations.
