DUBAI, UAE —The HODL Dubai Summit 2025, a premier global conference on blockchain, cryptocurrency, and Web3 innovation, officially kicked off today at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, drawing over 5,000 attendees from more than 60 countries.
Marking its 30th global edition, the summit, formerly known as the World Blockchain Summit, has solidified its legacy as the world’s longest-running crypto and Web3 conference series.
Held under the broader umbrella of the Dubai FinTech Summit, HODL by Trescon is a key ecosystem event aimed at accelerating serious business engagement, investor partnerships, and regulatory dialogue in the ever-evolving blockchain landscape.

Dubai FinTech Summit 2025 concludes with high-impact discussions and innovation on Day 2 (May 13, 2025)
Day 1 featured an impressive lineup of keynote speakers and panelists from some of the biggest names in the industry. Nils Andersen-Röed, Global Head of FIU (Binance), Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, Oliver Stauber and CEO of KuCoin EU spoke on topics around tackling the future of finance and navigating security, innovation and adoption post-hacks.
Keynote speaker, Cristian Ulloa, Co-Founder & CEO of Liquid Loans, captivated the audience with his talk, “How to Get Crypto Rich and Avoid Crypto Regret.” Meanwhile, Sabrina Gross of Facephi explored the power of tokenization in modern finance, and Erik Astramecki of Coin Voyage Inc presented practical strategies for crypto payment acceptance.
One of the day’s key panel discussions, “Crypto Rulebook: Global Best Practices & Regulatory Measures,” brought together leading voices such as Dyma Budorin, Co-Founder & CEO of Hacken; Samir Safar-Aly, Co-Chair, Policy & Regulations Working Group of MENA FinTech Association; Erwin Voloder, Head of Policy of European Blockchain Association and Belal Jassoma Director – Ecosystems of DMCC.
With multiple networking sessions, the summit offered access to top tech leaders, investors, regulators, and innovators. As anticipation builds, Day 2 promises another series of impactful discussions and will conclude with the Startup World Cup Pitch Competition.
