Abby V is no stranger to the world stage. A JUNO Award nominee for Best Global Album (2025) and winner of Astro International Superstar, he has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique fusion of Indian classical, Western classical, pop, R&B, Hindi, and Tamil music. His viral project “73 Ragas with Abby” cemented his reputation as a boundary-breaking artist, bridging cultures and genres through his craft. His performance at NJPAC will not only showcase his extraordinary artistry but also launch the World Food Movement’s next chapter in its mission to fight hunger.
WFM’s goal is simple yet powerful: to ensure no student or community member goes hungry. Drawing inspiration from The Akshaya Patra Foundation, India’s largest nonprofit school lunch program that has served nearly five billion meals globally WFM is adapting this transformative model to the United States. Since 2024, the organization has served over 7,000 fresh, wholesome meals to college students and food-insecure individuals across New Jersey and New York. By 2027, WFM aims to scale its impact to 100,000 meals annually through its meal hubs on campuses such as Rutgers, NJIT, Middlesex College, and Bloomfield College.

The stories behind the numbers are deeply personal. As one WFM student beneficiary shared: “These nourishing meals are why I’m still here, pushing for my degree. I can finally focus on my studies instead of worrying about my next meal.”
