The U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) has appointed Arun Srinivas, managing director and country head of Meta India, to its India executive leadership board.
The U.S.-India business advocacy group says it works “closely together with business and government leaders to achieve our goals of driving economic growth, job creation, innovation, inclusion, and entrepreneurship.”
“I am truly honored to join the USISPF board at such a pivotal time for the U.S.- India partnership,” Srinivas, who joined Meta in 2019, posted on X on his appointment.
“Meta’s mission to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together aligns deeply with USISPF’s focus on fostering economic and commercial ties between our two nations,” he wrote.

“As India continues its journey as a global economic powerhouse, Meta is committed to acting as a catalyst for the country’s digital transformation —empowering businesses, supporting entrepreneurs, and enabling millions to participate in the digital economy,” Srinivas wrote.
“We believe that AI & Technology can unlock new opportunities, drive innovation, and accelerate India’s economic growth and aspirations,” he wrote .
“Through close collaboration with USISPF and its members, we look forward to building stronger public-private partnerships that benefit both countries and their people.”
Srinivas graduated from the University of Madras and completed his masters from the Indian Institute of Management Kolkata in 1996.

He has over 25 years of experience, of which 21 were in the Consumer Products Industry, according to his profile. He spent five years with Reebok India and 16 years subsequently with Unilever. In Unilever, he rose to lead several businesses such as Beverages, Skin Care & Makeup and Foods for India and has been part of India, South Asia and Global leadership teams.
Srinivas spent 2.5 years in the PE Industry with Westbridge Capital, where he led the consumer vertical across fresh and existing investments. He was part of several deals and evaluated hundreds of companies raising capital across sectors.
Srinivas spent over a year at Ola, where he was the COO and the Global CMO. He managed the mobility business and P&L for India and led the Marketing, Categories and Revenue functions globally. He anchored the Ola London launch to success.
