U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal sparked a fresh political debate on X after reacting to President Donald Trump and his recent remarks linked to Iran.
“I’m relieved Trump did not destroy an entire civilization last night, but his unhinged threat and illegal war make it clear he is unfit to serve as president. Trump needs to be removed from office. And we must oppose his new $1.5 trillion budget proposal for more war,” Jayapal wrote.
Her post quickly drew a wave of reactions online, with users divided over her criticism.

One user responded sarcastically, “ABSOLUTELY GENIUS!! Finally, someone who understands that congress is basically just a “suggestion box” that we can ignore!
