NEW DELHI: The much hyped rivalry between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra seems to be a thing of the past: they have decided to keep aside their cold war and work together for the welfare of women. Both were last seen together in Aitraz post which they stopped working with each other.

As Priyanka is the National Ambassador for UNICEF, she will be a part of a docu-drama that promotes the development of the girl child and women’s education as well. She was reportedly impressed by the way Kareena, who is the UNICEF celebrity advocate, promoted secondary education in rural areas while celebrating Eid with the children. She soon approached Kareena to be a part of the video, to which Kareena agreed immediately.
To urge people to raise funds for the development of underprivileged kids, she hosted a dinner along with the Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF India and mother-in-law Sharmila in London.
Kareena, who has just given her recent hit Singham Returns, discards rumors of a stormy relationship with Priyanka. She curtly maintains secrecy of the project, not divulging details. She said that both of them share a great rapport and she respects Priyanka. Kareena will now be working for her next film with Salman Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijan, directed by Kabir Khan.
As far as Priyanka is concerned, she is excited about the collaboration. She is currently promoting her to be released film, Mary Kom. After that, she will be paying heed to other projects which include Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani and Madhur Bhandarkar’s Madamji.
