Cosby drugged and raped Andrea Constand, say documents.

WASHINGTON, DC: In a new development regarding the swirling allegations that Bill Cosby has sexually assaulted at least 45 women throughout almost a half-century of predation, the comedian testified in 2005 that he got Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex with, and he admitted giving the sedative to at least one woman and “other people,” according to documents obtained Monday by The Associated Press.
The 77-year-old comedian was testifying under oath in a 2005 lawsuit filed by Andrea Constand, the former director of operations for the Temple University women’s basketball team. He testified he gave her three half-pills of Benadryl.
She alleges that in November of 2002, she met with Cosby – a Temple University alum – when he approached her and offered to be her mentor in. In January 2004, she says she met with Cosby at his home in Pennsylvania and alleges that he gave her pills that he said would ease her anxiety. Constand claims that after drugging her, Cosby groped and raped her.
Thirteen women agreed to serve as Jane Doe witnesses to testify that they were also sexually assaulted by Cosby, but the case was settled out of court for an unspecified amount in November 2006, and the 13 were not given the chance to take the stand.
Cosby has never been criminally charged despite the slew of accusations, and most of the claims are blocked by statutes of limitations.
The first known incident of Cosby’s deviant behavior occurred in 1965, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Kristina Ruehli, now 71, claimed in an interview with Philadelphia Magazine that Cosby sexually assaulted her when she was a 22-year-old secretary at a talent agency.
She alleges that Cosby invited her to a party at his home, but when she got there she was the only guest. Ruehli went on to claim that she had a cocktail with Cosby and suddenly passed out. Ruehli further alleges that when she came to, she was in Cosby’s bed and he allegedly tried to force her to perform oral sex on him.
Ruehli spoke with Philadelphia Magazine on November 21, and claimed that she was one of the 13 Jane Doe witnesses who was ready to testify against Cosby during Andrea Constand’s civil suit.
Cosby resigned from the board of trustees at Temple last December, where he was the ubiquitous face of the Philadelphia school in advertising, fundraising efforts, and during commencement speeches.
