Democratic congressman Ro Khanna seems ready to make quite the loud statement at President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address. Khanna will reportedly bring Epstein survivor Haley Robson to Trump’s State of the Union address tonight, in a bid to highlight the need for greater accountability in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
“I’m honored and it came as a wonderful surprise to have been invited,” said Hobson regarding Khanna’s gesture.

A registered Republican who voted for Trump in 2024, Robson later withdrew her support, expressing disgust at the administration’s delays in releasing the Epstein files and calling for full transparency.
Who is Haley Robson?
Haley Robson is an American survivor of abuse by convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. She has publicly shared that she was trafficked by him starting at age 16 and has been involved in advocating for transparency around Epstein’s criminal network and related government files. In December 2025, Robson publicly stated that she was no longer supporting President Donald Trump, expressing frustration with how the administration handled the release of Epstein-related documents.
Robson’s story has drawn attention to the need for proper handling of evidence and public awareness of high-profile abuse cases, ensuring that survivors’ voices remain central in discussions of justice.
The California representative, co-author of the Epstein Transparency Act which led to the release of millions of files on the late financier, said Robson’s presence underscores the need for “exposing America’s two-tiered system of justice.” It comes as several Democrats invite survivors to the event, amid criticism of the Trump administration’s handling of the case.

By centering survivor voices, lawmakers are signaling that issues of accountability, transparency, and justice are not abstract concerns but human experiences with lasting impact.
Khanna’s choice to invite Robson is part of a concerted effort by at least half a dozen House Democrats to bring Epstein survivors to the State of the Union. Others include Rep. Jamie Raskin and Rep. Suhas Subramanyam, who are bringing family members of the late Virginia Giuffre, and Rep Robert Garcia with survivor Annie Farmer.
The collective effort of lawmakers to elevate survivor voices signals a commitment to scrutiny, reform, and the enduring importance of holding powerful figures and institutions accountable.
