Trianz, a technology company specializing in digital transformation software, has appointed Sudhakar Vadapalli as its new Chief Financial Officer. The move signals a strategic shift for the Virginia-based firm as it transitions from traditional IT consulting toward a platform-centric “Transformation Services as a Software” model.
Vadapalli will report directly to Sri Manchala, the CEO and founder of Trianz. In his new role, Vadapalli is tasked with overseeing global financial strategy, capital planning, and operational finance.
His arrival comes at a pivotal moment for the company’s Concierto platform, which has seen triple-digit revenue growth and recently expanded its reach into 19 countries.
A veteran of the software finance world, Vadapalli brings nearly 20 years of experience to the table. He previously spent a significant portion of his career at IBM, where he managed the finances for a major global business unit. Most recently, he served as Deputy CFO at Material in New York and held leadership roles at AppViewX.
Vadapalli’s journey to the C-suite of a major American tech firm began in India, where he established a strong technical foundation. He earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, one of the country’s most elite engineering institutions.
This technical background distinguishes him from traditional finance executives, allowing him to bridge the gap between software engineering and fiscal strategy. He later moved to the United States to pivot into the financial sector, earning an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Carnegie Mellon University.

“Trianz has done the hard part, executing a business model transition with financial discipline while building a platform that is already delivering at scale,” Vadapalli stated. He noted that his focus would be on building the financial infrastructure necessary for an AI-led B2B platform to succeed on a global stage.
The appointment follows a productive year for Trianz. Since May 2025, the company has filed 30 patents, with plans to double that number within the next year.
These innovations focus on automated infrastructure, application modernization, and “agentic” AI capabilities, autonomous systems that can execute complex cloud migrations up to 16 to 24 times faster than industry standards.
CEO Sri Manchala praised Vadapalli’s unique blend of skills describing him as “a leader who started his career in technology and shifted to finance, building the kind of infrastructure that a platform company at this stage needs.”
As Trianz prepares for further expansion across North America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific, Vadapalli’s expertise in scaling software P&Ls will be central to the company’s goal of becoming the “operating system” for enterprise digital transformation.
