In a post shared on X, ICE San Francisco stated: “ICE San Francisco arrested illegal alien Sandeep Singh, 40, of India, in Fairfield, CA. Singh illegally entered the U.S. from Mexico in 2023. Singh is wanted in Germany for attempted murder. He is in ICE custody pending immigration proceedings.”
ICE said immigration proceedings will determine whether Singh will ultimately be removed from the United States. Authorities have not released additional information about the German arrest warrant, including details of the alleged attempted murder case.
The arrest comes as ICE continues to pursue non-citizens who are the subjects of foreign criminal warrants or who have prior criminal records.
In a separate case, ICE agents in Newark, New Jersey, detained an Indian national identified as Ubaidullah Abdulrashid Radiowala during enforcement operations targeting individuals with serious criminal histories. According to the agency, Radiowala was taken into custody based on allegations that included attempted murder and extortion and was subsequently placed in removal proceedings.

Federal immigration officials have carried out several enforcement actions involving Indian nationals in recent years, particularly cases involving individuals with outstanding removal orders, criminal convictions, or alleged ties to serious offenses.
