Telehealth platform Hims & Hers Health has appointed Indian American internal medicine specialist Dr. Anant Vinjamoori as the new Chief Medical Officer for its flagship men’s brand, Hims.
The strategic hiring aligns with the company’s efforts to expand its offerings into preventative healthcare and longevity medicine.
Vinjamoori is set to provide the clinical guidance shaping the next phase of the Hims brand across its core sectors, which include sexual health, hormone health, dermatology, weight loss, and mental health.
He will also oversee emerging categories for the platform, including longevity medicine and peptide therapy. In his new role, Vinjamoori will report directly to Dr. Pat Carroll, the Global Chief Medical Officer of Hims & Hers.

Vinjamoori holds a strong academic background from top-tier institutions. He earned his MD from Harvard Medical School and concurrently completed an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Vinjamoori brings more than a decade of clinical and executive experience spanning primary care, internal medicine, and longevity. Before joining Hims & Hers, he led medical and product teams at prominent health technology firms, notably serving as an executive at Virta Health and Modern Age.
His expertise focuses on combining clinical practices with advanced diagnostics and targeted therapies, such as peptides, to optimize sleep, body composition, cognition, and physical recovery.
Additionally, Vinjamoori is the founder of Next Generation Medicine, an initiative that provides medical education and artificial intelligence tools to help clinicians safely implement and scale evidence-based longevity care protocols in their practices.

He has also served as an advisor to consumer wellness brands, including Midi Health and Superpower, and has authored several peer-reviewed clinical publications.
The corporate medical leadership team at Hims & Hers holds more than 100 years of combined clinical experience. Company officials stated that Vinjamoori’s background will help ensure the platform’s expanding wellness treatments remain deeply rooted in current research and strict clinical guidelines.
Vinjamoori noted that modern consumers are increasingly moving away from purely reactive medical treatments. He highlighted that men are paying closer attention to science-driven, proactive care to feel their best at every stage of life, stating that Hims possesses the scale and consumer trust necessary to deliver these advanced care innovations effectively.
