Optima Global Solutions, a New Jersey-based IT consulting and solutions company led by Indian American entrepreneur Mahesh Yadav, is marking its 25th anniversary with its fourth appearance on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies.
The Hamilton-based company ranked No. 4,525 nationally on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list. It was among 147 New Jersey companies recognized this year and one of nine honorees from the Princeton-Hamilton area.
The latest recognition comes as Optima expands beyond its traditional IT staffing and technology solutions business into cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, areas Yadav sees as increasingly important to organizations navigating rapid technological change.
The Inc. 5000 ranking is based on percentage revenue growth between 2022 and 2025.

From IT staffing to cybersecurity and AI
Founded in 2001 as a boutique IT staffing firm, Optima has spent more than two decades providing technology services to organizations across sectors including higher education, government, manufacturing and financial services.
The company now describes cybersecurity and AI as major components of its next stage of growth. Its cybersecurity practice focuses on areas including cyber risk and governance, Zero Trust strategy and implementation, AI security, incident readiness and organizational resilience.
The company said its approach is intended to make cybersecurity a measurable part of business operations rather than treating it solely as a technical function.
Optima is also developing AI transformation services as businesses move from experimentation toward broader adoption of artificial intelligence.
Its AI offerings include strategic advisory services, intelligent automation and AI solutions intended to help organizations identify practical applications and move from exploration to implementation.
The company said it is also addressing the operational, security and governance challenges that accompany wider AI adoption.

Indian American leadership
Yadav has emerged as a prominent figure in the technology and business community in the New York-New Jersey region.
In addition to leading Optima, he serves on the board of TechUnited:NJ and as an advisory board member with the School of Business, Department of Information Analytics, at Montclair State University.
He is also an angel investor in early-stage and growth-oriented technology companies in the United States and India.
Yadav has been active in promoting golf within the South Asian community. He founded the South Asian Golf Association and serves on the board of The First Tee Greater Trenton.
His involvement across technology, entrepreneurship, higher education and community organizations has given him a broader role within the Indian American business community in the region.

Optima’s fourth Inc. 5000 recognition provides a milestone for a company that began with a relatively narrow focus on IT staffing and has expanded its services as technology needs have changed.
The company now positions itself around four areas: process, people, strategy and transformation, with services spanning strategic staffing, automation and AI, cybersecurity and custom solutions development.
For Yadav and Optima, the latest Inc. 5000 recognition comes at a point when businesses are confronting both the opportunities created by AI and the cybersecurity risks that accompany increasingly digital operations.
After 25 years in business, the company is betting that its next phase of growth will come from helping organizations manage both sides of that equation.
