Y Combinator announced the launch of startup Andoria on Nov. 2, an AI customer onboarding manager that personalizes every onboarding walkthrough to its users.
While one-on-one onboarding is ideal for users due to their different backgrounds and needs, it’s impossible to cater to thousands of customers at once. This is where Andoria comes in as a solution to create customized onboardings, tailoring its approach to each user, a company video notes.
Founders Indonesian American Daryl Budiman and Indian American Anirudh Ramprasad met while working at MultiOn, an AI startup backed by General Catalyst and Amazon, where they built autonomous AI web agents that can interact with browsers and scaled the business to a triple-digit million-dollar valuation in nine months.
Ramprasad, a computer science graduate from University of Michigan Ann-Arbor, had short stints at various tech startups like Actively AI, Cue AI, and MultiOn before founding Andoria and becoming its Chief Technical Officer.

Budiman, a Stanford graduate in Symbolic Systems, worked at Amazon and Evernote before joining hands with Ramprasad.
The duo decided to start their own project and launched Andoria in November 2024. With the backing of Y Combinator, Andoria’s goal is to “bring each user ‘activation’ from day 1,” which means every user can join an organization and access the organization’s native platforms as per their role or access the product a company offers automatically with the help of Andoria.
With many competitors in the AI enterprise management sector, Andoria offers personalization, minimum setup with no code, and adapts to its customers’ interface to stand out.

Headquartered in San Francisco, Andoria is part of Y Combinator’s Fall 2024 batch. According to 2019 YC alum Caribou, getting into the YC roster can be challenging, with the acceptance rate around 1.5% to 3%. Touted as a “game-changer” for startups, YC selecting Andoria as its investee points to the startup’s capability.
