Patients frequently require ongoing direction and accountability, yet many medical offices are swamped with daily operations and are unable to deliver this level of care. This is where Asha Health comes in, offering a system that supports patients in between physician appointments while ensuring ongoing care using AI agents.

Asha’s clinics combine teams of AI agents and auxiliary staff to provide tailored care to patients, improving health results and engagement. The technology runs on autopilot, increasing practice margins without adding to staff workload. By incorporating Asha into their workflow, practices across a variety of specialties—including internal medicine, cardiology, pulmonology, and urgent care—can boost patient engagement, minimize provider burnout, and improve value-based care (VBC) performance.
Akkshay Khosla and Gokul Kumarresen developed Asha Healthcare after their own personal journeys with rare chronic conditions. Khosla worked as a Google product manager before starting Asha, and Kumarresen was in charge of growth engineering at Brex. Their shared ambition for transforming the healthcare system inspired them to collaborate on developing a scalable, AI-powered solution for practices, which has already piqued the interest of healthcare system executives.
