Y Combinator-backed startup Oki AI has been launched. Oki makes use of artificial intelligence to provide personalized updates on company progress.
Oki states that as a startup grows, the once-lean, founder-led culture slows down: information scatters, teams bloat, and leaders lose line-of-sight on what’s really happening. Decisions suffer because the right context no longer finds its way to the right people. “In an ideal world, you wake up to all the context you need. For our customers, Oki AI is that ideal world,” co-founders Luofei Chen and Aayush Tyagi say.
Oki has been designed to read teams’ codes, and deliver personalized, interactive updates every morning. With Ok AI, users can connect their apps at once. Oki will then send a personalized report that digs into sources, timelines, and teams, ensuring there is full context given for every decision.

Oki claims to be enterprise ready, and also states it never uses user data for training AI. In fact, it has an extra layer of data protection with state-of-the-art encryption both at rest and in transit. Oki is also HIPAA compliant and in review for SOC II Type II, secured by Delve. Oki also claims to integrate with existing solutions.
Oki aims to become a “single source of truth”, for users. It allows users to take the guesswork out of team management by revealing the “why” behind every off-track project with AI insights. It can also understand the stress levels of contributors. Oki also automatically categorizes companies into teams and projects, with no manual input. It also cites all of its sources, ensuring that users know how it is getting information, and building a trustworthy source of truth.
In addition to Oki AI, Luofei Chen has co-founded a number of different startups. These include Oki Karaoke, which provides soundproof karaoke boxes in shopping malls and airports, Lendridge, a peer to peer sharing platform for communities and travelers, and Harmony, which allows users to transcribe audio records into sheet music. Aayush Tyagi on the other hand, has previously worked at Robinhood as Android Developer and Senior Software Engineer.
