The American Bazaar, in partnership with Physicians Capital Fund, is set to host a Conference & Gala on Women’s Health Tech at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD, on November 17.
The event will bring together some of the most inspiring voices in health tech — women entrepreneurs, investors, physicians, scientists, and policymakers — to spotlight how innovation in women’s health is being shaped, funded, and scaled.
“We’re bringing founders, investors, and policymakers into one room because the future of women’s health won’t be built in silos,” said Dr. Vipul Kella, General Partner at Physicians Capital Fund. “Real progress happens when innovation, capital, and policy move together.”
The conference brings together a diverse lineup of influential voices from across healthcare, technology, and policy. Some of the speakers include Ainsley Maclean, founder and LP at Ainsley Advisory Group; Robin Noble, general partner at PhyCap Fund; Liz Powell, founder of G2G Consulting & Women’s Health Advocates; Catharine Young, senior fellow at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and former member of the Biden administration’s Cancer Moonshot initiative.

Featuring curated panel discussions, high-impact networking, and a cocktail-style dinner reception, the conference aims to foster meaningful dialogue across healthcare, technology, and policy—all through the lens of women leading change.
The first session, “Beyond FemTech — Investing in the Next Generation of Women’s Health Solutions,” will feature women venture capitalists and investors who are changing the investment landscape. The discussion will explore how gender diversity in decision-making shapes which innovations come to market and how women-led funds are driving greater impact in health tech.
A second panel, “From Prototype to Proof — How Women Founders and Clinicians Are Re-Engineering Care,” will bring together women physicians, scientists, and entrepreneurs who are leading the way in women’s health technology. Panelists will discuss how they identify unmet medical needs, launch successful startups, and overcome challenges such as funding barriers and technology adoption.

The third session, “From Frameworks to Impact — How Policy Is Redefining Women’s Health Innovation,” will focus on how regulation and policy impact health tech. Experts and policymakers will examine FDA pathways, reimbursement strategies, and health equity frameworks, offering insights into how innovators can navigate these systems to scale their work.
The evening will wrap up with a cocktail and networking hour, giving attendees the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and continue conversations sparked throughout the day.
