Far-right personality Laura Loomer insulted FBI Director Kash Patel after his recent deals with the Saudis. Loomer criticized Patel after he signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Qatar’s Ministry of Interior during an official visit to Doha.
Loomer accused Patel of turning a blind eye to Qatar’s alleged treatment of Indian migrant workers and slammed him for engaging with a government she claims bankrolls extremist groups like Hamas.
Loomer said on X: “You are an Indian. Do you know the Qataris make Indians like you slaves under Kafala? They build their buildings with Indian slave labor. Did you tell the Qataris to stop enslaving your people and funding terrorists? This is just so shameful… I advocated for you and now you’re in Qatar.” She added that Patel’s presence in Doha was a “let down.”
Patel met Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Qatar’s Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force on Tuesday, where both sides signed agreements aimed at strengthening cooperation on training, intelligence sharing, and capacity building.

Laura Loomer is an American political activist and media personality known for her far-right views and confrontational style. Born on May 21, 1993, in Tucson, Arizona, she graduated from Barry University in 2015 with a degree in broadcast journalism. Loomer first gained national attention through online activism and her involvement with conservative media organizations.
She became widely known for public disruptions, protests, and commentary targeting immigration policies, tech companies, and political opponents. Her rhetoric led to bans from several major social-media and payment platforms, including Twitter (now X), Facebook, and PayPal, due to violations of their content rules. Loomer ran twice for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida, in 2020 and 2022, but did not win either race.
She warned that this unusual partnership will result in the “Islamification of our country and Islamic terrorists endangering the lives of Americans.”

Kash Patel became the ninth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) when he was sworn in on Feb. 21, after a narrow 51-49 Senate confirmation vote. Patel, a native of Garden City, New York, holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and history from the University of Richmond, a juris doctor from law school, and a certificate in international law from the University College London Faculty of Laws. Before leading the FBI, he served as a public defender, a national-security prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice, and in staff roles on congressional intelligence committees. His appointment drew major attention because of his previous work in politically aligned roles and his longstanding criticism of the bureau.
The recent interaction between Loomer and Patel underscores the tension between federal officials and far-right activists over international security partnerships. Patel’s visit to Qatar and the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) focused on training, intelligence sharing, and capacity building.
While Patel’s actions represent official diplomatic and security cooperation, public perception is shaped by partisan commentary and social media amplification.
