Reports allege Khan left India as controversy surrounds him.

Unofficial reports claim that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is heading for the US, or perhaps is already there to meet his son Zunaid, who stays in Los Angeles.
Sources inside the film industry revealed that Khan left India on Friday as planned. India.com reported seeing the actor at the Mumbai international airport.
Last week Khan had said that his wife Kiran Rao had expressed her concerns over “intolerance†in the country, and they debated leaving the country.
The remark has seen a raging debate in the country, on social media, by politicians, Bollywood celebrities and alike.
Following the statement, there was a protest outside Khan’s house. Causing more worries to Khan and Rao, a lawyer named Sudhir Kumar Ojha filed a sedition case against them in the chief judicial magistrate court in Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
Even Indian e-commerce giant Snapdeal faced heat after Aamir’s ‘intolerance’ remarks. Thousands of people across the country tweeted that they would stop purchasing from Snapdeal until it removes Khan as its brand ambassador.
After facing severe criticism, Khan responded that neither he nor his wife Kiran Rao have any intention of leaving the country. The actor also stated that he is proud to be an Indian and stands by what he said.
